NIPPON ACADEMY consists of two Japanese language schools where students learn Japanese language, culture and customs, and three vocational schools focused on employment. With "Peace, Environment, and Symbiosis" as its corporate philosophy, NIPPON ACADEMY welcomes students from more than 45 countries around the world.

Established in 1991, NIPPON Language Institute is the first Japanese language school in Gunma Prefecture and is located close to the Gunma Prefectural Government Office.
Maebashi, the prefectural capital, is surrounded by rich nature, including the three mountains of Jomo and the Tone River, and offers a relaxing environment in which to study Japanese language and culture.
One of the reasons why the Japanese language is considered difficult to learn is because of onomatopoeia. The use of "scene" to express a soundless state or "dong" to express a loud, strong, or pressured state is a convenient way to intuitively express emotions and states, and to convey them with short sounds. We hope that you will actually grasp the Japanese sensibility and ways of expression in Japan, which are difficult to understand even if you learn only the language.
Japanese ambiguous expressions and honorific expressions are also highly challenging, but we believe that they are techniques to facilitate human relations and are based on the unique culture, national character, and heart of the Japanese people who have lived together with nature, which is unique to Japan, an island nation surrounded by the sea with a history of isolation. We hope that international students at our Japanese language school will acquire a living Japanese language that is unique to the current era, while feeling peace through actually living in Japan and interacting with other people.

At each school, students will hone their skills with the spirit of "Omotenashi" (hospitality) in their courses, such as the Hotel and Ryokan International Course, International Culinary Business Course, IT Design Course, and Global Business Course, with the aim of finding employment or starting up their own businesses. Many international students gather from all over Japan to study at our school due to the high employment rate in the Japanese inn and hotel industry. With the goal of finding employment from early on, students learn the basics of Japanese business manners, learn detailed "Omotenashi" (hospitality), polish their PC skills, and produce many talented people who are needed by Japanese people and can play an active role in a Japanese society facing the problems of a declining birthrate and a shortage of human resources.
