Nippon Cultural Institute
Graduation certification class was held.
Two hands-on classes were held: a "sushi class" and a "kimono class," and students chose and participated in the class they preferred.
In the kimono class, students experienced wearing a kimono firsthand under the instructor's guidance.
They seemed happy to pose in front of the camera, experiencing traditional culture which they don't often get to encounter.
In the sushi class, after a demonstration by the instructor, each student had a chance to try making sushi themselves.
I was impressed by how they, despite being new to techniques like forming sushi rice and placing toppings, enjoyed themselves with smiles.
